Do you lie about your age?

Why/why not? If you do, do you add or subtract years? Just a few, or go a little far?

  • I did when I was younger. My oldest son would tell everybody that I was 23. Finally one day, my friend BJ started laughing and rudely pointed out to my LO that I was 28 and that I lied to my poor little child.

Answer by racingirl at 3:22 PM on Jul. 22, 2010

  • No. What difference would it make in the grand scheme of things?

Answer by Izsarejman at 3:23 PM on Jul. 22, 2010

  • Not really, although I have just rounded up if I was really close to my birthday, like within the month. I do it more for convenience' sake than embarrassment about my age.

    I am 20 right now. I'll be 21 in September. : )
