Does anyone else look forward to nap time?

My daughter is taking a nap and so I am free to do whatever my little heart desires!

  • I hate nap time, it's why I'm going back to work. There's only so much housework to do.. and DD sleeps for 2-3 hours! I always end up cleaning.. and then having an extra hour or two to sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting for her to wake up!

  • Oh Yes!

When my son is taking his nap he looks just like an angel. Nap time is time for me to rest too.sleep

  • Oh, most definitely! Now, nap time is gone :-( Now we have "rest time" but every two minutes, it's "hey, I'm rested, can I play now?" :-)
Poor kid doesn't believe me that she gets cranky and whiny without some down time!

  • GrnEyed, I tried that! I asked her since she didn't want her nap time, could I have it and she just laughed and said "mom, you aren't a baby!"

  • Ok so my son would wake up from his naps SOOOOOO Crabby that sometimes it would take him 2-3 hours to snap out of his mood - the whinning, nothing can help he wants everything but nothing type of mood - ugh... I am SO Glad they are done.. he JUST stopped taking them and now when we are driving and he goes to doze off, we actually have to tell him NOT To fall asleep because he gets in such a foul mood - me personally,.. GOD YES i miss them because that was my chance to nap too!!
