how long after you got your epideral did your back still hurt?

baby girl Emma is 1 month and 2 weeks old and my back is still hurting me so badly that i need pain meds to feel any relief. how long after you got your Epideral did your bakc hurt? this is the 2nd Epideral ive had out of 3 kids. should i go to the Dr's about this or just let it be?

  • Mine didn't hurt at all (surprisingly since I had two, and a bajillion needle pokes - long story) so I would definitely call the Dr ASAP - something is not right.

  • my pain never left, i have tissues that are missing in my back and my bones rub together and a epi made it worse

  • it feels like somethings pinching. like right where that spot was. ive been having back issues since my 2nd baby but nouthing like this. i cant even function anymore. and yes they had to stick me me twice with the last baby cause i jumped the first time.

  • my back was perfectly fine.
    now my bladder that was numbed... that took some time to get better. Luckily I was already wearing pads for the postpartum bleeding LOL

  • Mine seemed like it hurt forever! I was concerned and called my OB and she had the anesthesiologist call me. I want to say about 6 months, give or take. Mine went away eventually.

  • I don't remember having any pain from my epi... But the pain in my crotch was mostly where my mind was!

  • Mines hurt from time to time but nothing like that.U need to go and get checked out, make sure u don't have pinch nerves.
