  • Everyone has a different definition of healthy- a lot of the "Healthy" things people feel their kids aren't even allowed into my house. Bottom line, kids will eat what they are provided with, and I have no interest in providing them with the means to shave 30 years off of their lives.

  • Most definitely. Health is the greatest gift you can give your child, besides life. Teaching them good eating habits will follow them through life, which will in turn allow them to hopefully live a more fufilling life!

  • I was wondering. I have family and friends that seem to have a free for all with the junk food. I always feel odd. For cousin has a 1 years old little boy who weighs 38lbs. My 4 year weighs that! But she also feeds him junk and soda is a given with him.
My husband and I are very proud though because our son will choose a veggie or fruit before anything. I always have fresh veggies and fruits for snacks, he is only allowed water, milk, and juice. No soda and never had it. Dinner has always consisted of at least 2 veggies. I make many of my food from scratch, really use my crockpot, etc. I read labels so much when grocery shopping. We have about 98% of items in food are organic. It is nice I am not alone. I do not want him unhealthy and overweight when he gets older. I always feels sorry for those kids.
