Checking cervix position

Just wondering how you can safely check your cervical position and how this is helpful when trying to conceive.

  • make sure your hands are clean, and your nails trimmed... and reach on in.

It's helpful because cervix position, feel and openness as well as the consistency of the cervical mucous can help you identify when you're approaching ovulation.

  • A good time to try is when you are showering... I'm a nut about clean hands for CP.

  • I checked mine when I was trying to conceive and it's a great way to see if you are ovulating. Just wash your hands first, you can also check to see if it is open, then you know for sure you are ovulating. You will actually feel a tiny hole, then can you keep checking to see how long it is open and you know when your window to conceive is.
