Could this be the start of actually potty training my son?

At night before he gets in his bath, I have him take his diaper off and set on the potty. For a while it was just a game, now he will wait to see if he can pee, then once he does, he gets off potty and gets in his bath. He is very excited about it too...and recently learned that when mommy or daddy goes potty to say pee-pee....when we are going pee that is lol. Could this be the actual start of potty training? And where do I go from here? He is 18 months old

  • sounds like a good start the next step is you to look for signs that he needs to go him asking or doing a dance etc.. then take him, then he needs to ask to go potty, use hugs, high fives and stickers to reward him
