too corney? anouther halloween question

i have 3 kids. we may not be going out trick or treating but i am still going to dress them ALL up and pass out candy. i was thinking of doing a group theme like animals or princesses and princes's is this too corny or should i let them each be something totally different?

  • I think you should ask them. If they like the idea, go for it! :)

  • Mine sounds even cornier. I'm going to be Corella Devil and my kids are going to be Dalmatians

  • Shrek and Toy Story seem to be a hot costume theme this year.

  • It sounds cute! I agree with PP, ask and if they want to dress alike go for it. I remember one year me, my brother, mom and dad dressed as all 4 Ninja Turtles! It's fun :-)

  • When my girls were young we always did group costumes: a princess and a dragon, a witch and a black cat, Dorothy & the Scarecrow, Bo Peep & her sheep, cleopatra and a mummy, etc. I would say go for it while you can, now mine are older and have not desire to pick costumes together (though my oldest now dresses up her boyfriend to match her, last year they were Posion Ivy and Two Face from Batman)

  • I think it sounds like a great idea! Last year we saw a family dressed up in Wizard of Oz costumes, they were so cute!

DH and I have joked around about having him dress up as Dr. Evil and our son as Mini-Me, but that would have worked so much better when our son was still bald. :p
