im 33 weeks pregant & the baby isnt moving as much

is this bad or is he running out of room??
it worry s me alot

  • He's getting bigger and he doesn't hav a whole lot of room like he used to. But the kicks and the punches are more likely to be stronger :) No worry.... as long as he is moving in there.

  • You should get at least 4 movements every 20 mins after eating or drinking something. Test urself 4 that. If you don't get atleast 4 then eat something sugary like cereal or a piece of chocolate and retest. Its true the baby will move differently but not really less. Instead of being able to flip n flop in there you should be feeling lots of elbowing and slower stronger pushing feelings. Call the doc if you are really concerned.

  • I agree w. jrhowser, the bigger they get, the less room they have but if it makes u feel more @ ease call ur dr. n let him no ur concerns and s what he thinks!!!!

  • You might want to keep a log of the times during the day that you feel the baby move and share with your doctor. Also note if the baby move after certain meals or mostly at night. If the doctor is concerned they will do a stress test to see how the baby is doing.
