  • Cuddles. I put pacifiers in the freezer and both my boys chewed on them....they didn't use them otherwise. Get some teething tablets!!!! Massage gums with a cold washcloth, also can freeze them. I also gave frozen waffles to my first son to chew on, since everything thaws within minutes.

  • Cuddle her more - she needs the comfort from you.
Massage her gums with your finger if she will let you.
Put a clean, wet washcloth in the freezer and let her suck on it.
Distract her with a toy or taking her outside for a little while. It will keep her mind off her gums.

  • Neebug has excellent tips.

We did all of the above with our children. One thing that someone recommended us was to use Vanilla.

  • There are homeopathic teething tablets (Humphreys) you can give her. Also depending upon her age, you can give her ibuprofen (Advil, Mortin) infant drops.

  • Hylands teething tabs (put one in your mouth first; they disolve instantly)
    frozen, damp washcloths
extra nursing (breasts are developed for comfort as well as nutrition)

  • my son just went through teething. none of that stuffed worked for him either. when she gets fussy try snuggling with her or distracting her so she forgets about the pain. also teething bisquits help alot. my son only calmed down when i was comforting him or gave him teething bisquits.
