What is a card stock?

My son needs a bright card stock for Kindergarten and my daughter needs just a card stock for 4th grade. Is this something for the teachers and employees?

  • We got a book of it for our son for Christmas. IT was like 50 pages, different colors, and I think they were 8 by 11 in size. On the front cover it said card stock on it and it gave ideas on how to use it. We found it at wal mart in the craft department.

  • Cardstock is like very thick printer paper... You can find it anywhere that carries office supplies.

  • It is a thick, shiny paper that the kids use for crafts like painting and such.

  • They probably use the card stock for holidays to make presents for the parents but, you can find it at any store.

  • you can find it at a hobby/scrapbooking store. its various colored cut squares of paper..card stock..they do sell them in packages of 'hundreds'. various colors, sizes..some will be 4x5+, and some will be a bit smaller...although, the request is kinda vague, isn't it? you might want to inquire as to exactly what kind/which size (if any) they really intend on you purchasing.
