Is it safe to start dating again or should I wait till it's all said and done?

I have been separated from my husband for over a year now and the divorce is kinda going slow. I have met someone and would like to date this person. is it ok to go on and date again or should i wait for the divorce to be final?

  • Me personally, I would wait until the divorce is final.

  • My advice would be to wait, just so that he doesn't have anything to use against you if he decides to get nasty. I know that may be hard though. My "inexperienced" advice would be that the right guy will wait ;) Best of luck.

  • I dated before the divorce was final. My ex was in fact, already engaged.

  • If you've filed for divorce, legally its fine to date (so said my lawyer). If I were you I'd date. I waited for mine to be final, but it didn't take that long.

  • Never kknew it took that long for a divorce!! A year is a long time in limbo! Personally would not wait much longer.
