What is the longest time a 3 month old can sleep at night?

How many hours is too much. Is 6-8 too long?

  • Except to change a the diaper or feed the baby. You can let them sleep as long as they want. The baby will start staying awake longer and longer, the older they get.

  • He is gaining weight btw. I guess I worry if he sleeps more than 5 hours at night without feeding.

  • My yungest dd was sleeping through the night at 3 months (8+ hours a night).  It was bliss.  Let sleeping babies lie.

  • Yup, let sleeping babies lie. Unless your baby has a medical condition that requires feeding at certain intervals, let 'em sleep! They'll wake up when they are hungry, don't worry.

    Note: My 3 month old will sleep up to 8 hours at night. Sometimes less if she's hungry.

  • one of my boys sleeps from 9pm till around 5 or 6 am every night and they are 3 months old the other one is up all threw out the night i have to feed him every hour

  • you are so lucky!!! it was like that with my first one. She always slept through the night (8+ hours) but my second baby wakes up every 3 hours!!

  • let him sleep as much as he needs... Its super important for his little brain development --he'll let ya know when he's hungry :o)

  • my litle one has been sleeping 10+ hours since he was 2 months :) he is almost 6 months now and he has woken up for a middle-of-the-night feeding or diaper change a total of 3 times. I feel super blessed!!
