not a racist question but i was wondering about black babies. .

ive seen african american babies being born and they appear to be light colored or sometimes even white even tho the parents are both black. my question is...
are black babies born light colored. and when do they become darker...

  • we are born light colored becuz of the melatonin in the skin haven't, i guess you would say "matured" as we get older we get darker. now once we are born, the tip of our ears is usually darker than the rest of our body. it's said that, that is the way to tell how dark the babies will be. so the next time you see a new born AA baby, look at their ears (if the mother don't mind) and see how dark it is and in a few months, sometimes years, you'll see the baby pigament is as dark as her/his ears were.
