  • I am finally losing weight. I just learned from my weight management at my doctor that I need to to 65 grams of fats per day. If I need to lose more weight, go down to 60 or 55 grams of fats per day. It s working on me. Also keep walking 40 to an hour day to bring the weight down almost everyday.

  • Walk regularly. I lost a lot of weight by portion control but walking was very helpful. I did 30 minutes every night. GL

  • I take Juice Plus capsules everyday. I wanted to lose 10 lbs, I lost 19.
The body craves more of whatever you are eating. These are fruits and veggies in a capsule.

  • i calculated how many calories i need to eat to lose weight.
i weigh ALL the food i eat and track my calories.

i eat 30 grams of protein within 3 hours of waking up.
i also eat 75-125 grams of carbs a day. usually it's some veggies and some whole wheat bread.
fat grams per day = 32-52
protein is at least 80 grams, but i average about 120. i always eat more protein than carbs.

exercise.... wii fit and just dance.
i tried running (C25K) a few times, but quit due to the heat.
    i HATE exercising.

BUT i've lost 97 lbs mainly through dietary changes.

  • Jillian Michaels Banish Fat Boost Metabolism workout 6 times a week. I don't eat red meat, try to stay away from dairy and eat lots of salads...lots of veggies, whole grains and fiber packed foods. I also have Metamucil which I use when I feel hungry after I've already eaten. It fills me up and is a treat from water, which is all I basically drink.

I would start with simple changes.
    Don’t buy junk food
Walk, or do other exercise, for at least 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week.
Make sure that you are drinking enough water, at least 8 8oz glasses a day.
Eat an apple or big pile of veggies before meals.
Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, in at least 3 different colors.
Eat 5-6 servings of whole grains a day.
Eat at least two servings of legumes a day.
Cut way back on meat and dairy.
