Oh my! Heat index in our area is going to be at least 115 degrees today!!! Yikes! Whats the temp where you live?

115 is incredible....I live in Alabama and if you have never been to the South you dont know about the humidity. It takes your breath away.

I was planning on going grocery shopping later, but I think I will avoid that for today!!!

  • We are a little cooler here in TN but not by much. My Husband is a firefighter and days like these are the ones where I worry about him.

  • I'm in Ky. It's 90 here, feels like 100 with a lot of humidity. I hate it!
Our air is set to 75 and hasn't kicked off all morning. :-(

  • We're in TN too. It's 88 right now (heat index of 94) and we're still going up... supposed to get up to 94 today (I don't want to know what the heat index is for that one). The humidity is thick today. We had to go out this morning, at 9:30 and it was already hot and humid. I'm trying to stay in the AC as much as possible today and I shipped my husband and boys off to the water park for the day.

  • Oh wow, looks like you all have the weather we had here in CO last weekend. It's drier here, but our actual temp was 105 last Saturday. And we have no a/c...

Today we have a bit of a break at only 81 or so for the high.
