"no sunscreen in the pool"

how am I supposed to protect my kids from the sun with such a rule?
We are in a hotel with a pool..

  • If the pool is inside, don't worry about sunscreen. If it's outside, then put it on them anyway. And tell the ones who can read that if they say anything they'll spend the time sitting in the stuffy room. :-)

  • Use it anyway. Just make sure their body absorbs it so it's not obvious. Thuth is, sunscreen is not good for the pool!!

  • Just put it on while in the room - and let it absorb for 20 minutes. We're all supposed to let it sink in anyway for max effectiveness. That way no one will know!

  • I think more than likely their issue isn't the sun tan lotion we tend to use but the sunScreens like Zinc-Oxide that some people use and that can have chemical reactions with the pool chemicals. Either way, I would put it on them anyways... Just let it dry before you go down to the pool and no one will ever know!
