  • Any recent changes? My older niece starting having potty accidents after her younger sister was born, she was almost three when this occurred.

  • It's usually behavioral when this happens, any new changes or do you know if there's anything bothering her?

  • Sometimes they regress a little. Stay calm, don't make a big deal about it. Usually doesn't last long.

  • maybe to get some attention, if you are having sudden changes in the house,,,

  • there has not been any changes in the home, everything has been the same. it did take alil longer for her to potty train and i blamed it on the fact that her lil sister has developmental delays and we have therapist in and out of the house all week. she used to only have an accident when they were here, but even the therapist worked on a system to make her feel just as important and there has been no problems. today she actually only told me twice that she had to go before she pee'd all over the floor, the other times she didnt say a word and just stood in the middle of the floor looking at me and pee'd. i know i should not get all worked up, i guess i am worried that something is bothering her too and i dont know how to find out what it is, i tried having alil mommy talk, but she just hugged me and said "i sorry mommy" :)

  • Have you checked to make sure she doesn't have a bladder infection?

  • UTI would make her have more accidents

  • I was going to suggest the UTI. Just make sure you are not angry at her for her accidents. They are still little at this age and need lots of encouragement.

  • i know, i have yelled a few times, and felt sooo bad afterwards. now i have been just sitting down asking questions and talking to her. i am going to call the doctor, i dont think she would have taken this kind of a turn without there being something behind it. she is such a smart and understanding lil girl. thank you
