  • Because he's selfish and doesn't want to choose between two women. Make the choice for him, and leave him.

  • He doesn't. The reality of it is that he only loves himself (maybe not even that)

  • Because he's a selfish a** and I agree with previous answers, make the choice for him and leave him. It'll do you good.

  • He doesn't really love 2 women. Just like a woman doesn't really love 2 men.

What happens is an individual is attracted to individual aspects that each person has. Not really in love with the entire person, just portions of that person's personality. And in most cases, they are just "in love" with how the person treats them, or things they do for them. One person fills some need(s) that the other doesn't. So, they are "in love" with that aspect of that person.

One fills one set of needs, treats the person a certain way. And the other fills a different set of needs and treats the person a certain way. Each one provides something that the individual is wanting/needing either in a relationship or from an outside source. That's it. One isn't loved more than the other. Many times love actually has nothing to do with it. It's all about satisfying/fulfilling needs and how they are treated.

  • Becuase he is a lying selfish ass!!! Tell em to kick rocks!! RUNNNN as fast as you can away from him! My motto once a cheater always a cheater! If he truely loved you he wouldn't be messing around or trying to have his cake and ice cream too!

  • A convenient lie men always say.

  • Men want their cake and eat it too. That's all.

  • He's lying to both of the women and to himself, and truth be known, the only person he really cares a whit about is himself.

  • I have never understood why people believe that we are only capable of loving one other person. The human capacity to love is unlimited... Every person has different characteristics and traits which could be attractive... What one woman/man has another won't and visa versa... Maybe it's simply a case of loving one person for "this set" of characteristics and the other for "this set"

  • That's called polyamory, being able to love more that one. It's more common that a lot of people expect. It isn't about being selfish, it's more of being honest with himself and with his partners about his feelings. Just like people don't expect a woman to love only one of her children, anyone can fall in love with more than one person at the same time.
