  • i dont know. but as soon as labor starts it will probably be wise to go strait to the hospital. sounds like it could go really fast. i was never dilated past 2 before labor began.

  • Honey, Labor will start when it's ready... I was 6cm dilated for 6 full weeks before my water broke at 42.5 weeks... It could be any day, it could be weeks... Just make sure your bags are packed and you have the doctors numbers on you at all times - just in case!

  • I stayed dilated at 3 cm for a couple of weeks before going into labor. But once the labor started, everything went very quickly. My labor with my first was 4 hours and 3 hours for my second.

  • i was a 4 before labor. my contractions were 2 minutes apart for 4 hrs before i went in and they still sent me home. predialation is not always an indicator of how long labor will be. mine was about 38 hrs.

  • It might be soon, or perhaps sometime in August...
It could be a slow or a quick labor.
Knowing what the cervix is doing today doesn't usually help anybody know anything about what - when - how their labor will be.
Getting it checked is simply for entertainment purposes only.

    Good luck!
