Do you think that this mother should be charged?
"When your mom asks to become your Facebook friend, it can feel like that time when she insisted on standing in the corner, sipping a nonalcoholic drink, at your high school dance.
A teenager in Arkansas, however, has become so annoyed with his mother's Facebook intrusion that he has reportedly decided to sue her for harassment."

  • LOL! I would toss his computer in the garbage and see how he liked that! He is 16, there is no privacy for kids as far as I'm concerned. As long as a parent is responsible for them then parents make the rules.

Seriously, I can't believe they would even CONSIDER charging her!

  • I tell my 15 year old son all the time. When you live with me under my roof for free, and I'm paying the bills, then you have no privacy. When you get a job and pay some bills, then I'll give you privacy. I check his phone, because I pay the bill. I check his emails and Facebook, because I pay the internet bill. Kids today do not need privacy because a lot of trouble comes with it. This kid will lose his case hands down. He just wasted the court system's time.

  • WOW! Can't he just....delete her?

Answer by adoredby3 at 8:23 PM on Jul. 24, 2010

  • That is so stupid, why didn't he just delete her of his list and block her from his profile.

Answer by DesertRose75 at 8:24 PM on Jul. 24, 2010

  • My main thing is how he's 16. I can see where it could be harassment if he was over 18, but 16?
