Have you ever husked corn?

When we were kids and my grandparents had their farm we had to help with all kinds of stuff. When we husked corn we had to get EVERY "hair" off the corn. And I do mean EVERY one of them. Have you ever husked corn?

  • I did it last week. We love fresh corn, but no, I don't get "every" hair off.

  • Yep and believe it or not my 5 year old daughter is the fastest I have ever seen. She lives on a farm and does quite a bit of farm work. She is 5 years old and already has her own successful business. Its disturbing when your 5 year old makes more money a month then you do.

  • I have. My grandparents live on a farm, too and I've helped them since I was a kid. I remember summer days sitting there husking corn and snapping green beans. =)
