What kind of lunch bag do you use for work?

I hate putting my food in the fridge at public places, so I need suggestions of good insulated lunch bags as well as the best ice pack brands that I can use to keep it cold.

  • I use an LLBean insulated bag...and I place a small reusable ice brick (cost less than a $1 at my supermarket) in the bottom.

  • I suspect that the best for insulation would be a hard-sided container. The soft sided containers don't seem to keep things as cool. As far as ice packs, I use whatever I find at the grocery store, usually. One at least the size of a sandwich.

  • I don't take a lunch when I work, I just eat out, but I would suggest getting a "lil igloo" those are the best at keeping everything cold! As for icepacks, just make your own or fill a ziploc with ice, it will fit over and around your food better than those hard ice packs from the store...

  • I always just used a brown paper sack and kept it in the fridge at work. I trusted my fellow employees. LOL.
