Are you inclined to believe mass emails without question?

Do you forward them on without checking the facts? If so, is it because you don't care what the facts are, because the email fits with your beliefs, so the facts are superfluous to you? Or is it because you are inclined to believe whatever is sent to you if it is from a source you trust--like a friend or family member? Why do you read and pass on information without checking to see if what you are forwarding is accurate information?

  • I don't even read the mass emails. If it has more than a couple people in the sent line, or you can see where it was forwarded from person to person to person, I just delete.
If I did read and wanted to forward to someone, I'd check facts first.

  • Nope. I don't read mass emails from anyone. If someone gets too zealous in sending mass emails, I usually block them.
