  • No, I don't have a set amount, even though it would probably be a good idea. lol I never had a lot of clothes growing up so it is one thing that myself and my husband don't mind spending money on.

  • I have one daughter starting kindergarten in less than 2 weeks. I spent around $100 total on clothes for her, that's counting new panties(she needed new size 8, she grew out of the size 6), new socks (again, grew out of the ones she had), one pair of used shoes, two pair of new one, and some clothes, mostly used, some new. That also counts enough warm weather clothes for before and after winter and enough cool weather clothes to get through winter.

  • Honestly, hardly anything. I have a DD with an August 25 birthday. She gets lots of fall clothing as gifts.

  • no. only getting the pieces they need right now. no long sleeves or sweat pants until land end's puts them on sale with no shipping (christmas usually).
They all have new summer clothes that will look good for back to school cause it has been too dang cold to wear them all summer (it's 63 out). Our warmest months are sept to oct usually (and often until dec before frost).

  • We homeschool, so I don't buy specifically for back to school. I buy all year around. I would say that I spend about $1000 a year on my son's clothing and shoes though, including special clothing for photos and Holidays.

  • Usually about 100 per child. At least until middle/high school...I will re-evaluate at that time.
