Do I have to reach a certain level before I can edit my questions?

I missed a letter and tried to go back in to correct it, but it said it was locked for editing. Why is this? What's the point of not allowing me to fix it? Who does it hurt for me to fix it?

  • You are only allowed to edit a question before it gets answered. It gets locked from editing once you get the first answer.

  • What BlainesMommy said. :-)
You can edit all you want until someone answers it, then you just have to use the answer box to comment or say "hey, I said *this* meant to say *that*"

  • That's dumb. It still even says "edit question" in blue likes it's still an option. I think that's a stupid rule and should be changed.
