Imagine you are placed in a room with Adolf Hitler when he is only 3 years old. You have a gun, know exactly what he does during world war 2 and will not be charged in any way if you choose to kill him, but at the time he is just an innocent baby, would you kill him?

Though adverse to killing an infant, she knows that she must kill the baby. After several failed attempts, and upon being discovered that she is not who she says she is, she kidnaps the baby and runs off, jumping into the water presumably drowning both herself and baby Adolf. However, since we all know that "history" cannot be changed, the nanny (discovering the death) replaces the baby with a street gypsy's baby, who bears enough of a resemblance to baby Adolf that she can present this baby to the father as his own. The father proceeds to introduce this son to his guests as "Adolf", presumably the Adolf Hitler known to history in the first place. You can see that the baby appears somewhat deranged. Sadly, the person who set out to change history ends up being the one who causes the sequence of events to fall into place to make that "history" a reality.

  • no i dont think i would.i can bring myself to kill an innocent child when they have done nouthing wrong yet. perhaps steal him and turn him good??

Answer by sandraberke at 6:39 PM on Jul. 25, 2010

  • No. Killing an innocent child would not be the answer even if it were to stop what did eventually happen. I'd more do something like kidnap him to teach him the my difference between right/wrong.

  • yeah but at least i know that i did all i could cause honestly how horrible must he of been treated to want to kill all those people. you dont just wake up one day and be like oh i think im going to wipe out and entire race of people today. its all in how you were raised. no serial murder ever had a mommy who made them cookie everyday or had a family like leave it to beaver.

or did they?? i dont know all the serial killers out there.but if you can think of one please let me know.

  • Tons of people had the opportunity to end Hitler's reign when he was an adult.

  • If he was destined to BE the evil person he was, then perhaps no amount of trying tot each him to be good would help. Killing him would be the only SURE way of knowing you stopped the atrocities in the future.

  • It all depends on if you believe in destiny or not. If he was destined to do what he did, then no manner of 'good and decent parenting' would have helped. If killers and monsters are just a product of their environment, then perhaps your kidnapping him, loving him and bringing him up 'right' would have stopped the future genocide. Hitler's mother loved him very much and his father was very strict but not abusive. It's not like he was abandoned, sexually abused or suffered trauma in his childhood and yet he still turned out the way he did.
