I'm 9 weeks pregnant, what should I eat right now!? Please help me!

mexican/burgers/golden coral/greazy foods/microwave dinners are out.
I guess it's just supposed to be bland...

  • Grilled cheese?? Vegetable soup?? Spaghetti?? Pizza?? Shoot I just ate whatever I wanted, but was pretty sick that first trimester so I didn't want alot of anything.

  • Yeah, definitely not craving anything besides that Hershey Pie at Walmart... LoLs, but Pizza sounds ok, just not greazy!

  • folic acid is really good for babys, especially in the early stages of pregnancy so one of my favorites was whole wheat pancakes with bananas in them. or whole wheat speggati with alittle butter and parm cheese.

  • It doesnt have to be bland! :)
    And you can still eat Mexican....it may cause heartburn..but really...just about ANYTHING can cause heartburn whe youre pregnant, especially late in pregnancy..if that happens just drink a glass of milk,buy a bottle of TUMS.
    Limit your greasy foods. If its a hamburger you crave...I have found that if I bake them on a baking sheet with the inside rack so the grease can drain off...those are really good. Eat it with a whole grain bun...cheese is good(calcium) add your lettuce, tomato, onion..its actually healthy! Even better if you make it a baked chicken breast sandwhich :)
    Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Basically...stay away from grease and junk food(donuts,cake,cookies,candy etc...but an occassional splurge won't hurt ya or the baby). Baked potatoes are a good thing too...instead of sour cream..use lowfat cottage cheese on it..really good :) Eat WELL..not tasteless,lol.Congrats! :)

  • When I was 9 weeks pregnant I couldn't get enough of anything starchy. I especially liked Mashed Potatoes and Pasta's. You can really eat anything in moderation.

  • You can eat whatever you ate before you were preggo. All you need is 200 extra calories a day..

  • i eat what ev i want unless ur RLY not supossed to have it!....but i throw in the healthy stuff, like mixed vegies and i eat alotta fruit summer time fruit is the best so take advantage, i eat salads alot to, ur supossed to have alot of greens which im havin probs wit!
