  • tell her to call her doc, they can evaluate the baby- some new born babies are that way but if shes concerned I would set a doc appt. Most newborns sleep al lot and don't cry much at first.

  • It depends on the baby.....some cry while others are content or happy. As long as the baby's waking her up to be fed then she's fine. Tell her to enjoy her time now because as the baby gets older and needs more attention she'll start wishing for less crying :)

  • No..there is nothing wrong..she is blessed! LOL As long as she IS crying when she does need something..if she were to NEVER cry..I would be concerned..otherwise...tell her to count her blessings, seriously! lol

  • That's perfectly natural. My son barely crid for the first four months. Then suddenly he cried for everything, then he went back to being a quiet kid. It's normal.

  • My twin girls don't cry a lot. Only when they are sick do they get fussy. I just enjoy it. I feel fortunate.

  • My son only cried when he was hungry or pooped. He was such a quiet happy baby :) Now hes a quiet happy 13 month old :) He did have a 2 week colicky spell, but even then he cried 2 hours a day max, thats every crying session added togetther.. but he quit that after the 2 weeks. No he only cries if hes hurt.
