What vacuum should I get?

We are in need of a new vacuum and not sure what to get. We have a dog and a cat so I need one that will suck the hair up without having to go over the same spot more then once.

  • I love my Dyson! I saved for months to get it and I'm so glad I did.

  • We have an inexpensive "pet" vacuum that has a removable filter. It works really well :)

  • Definately an oreck. They give you a free canister vacuum that is so very powerful and handy. It is worth the extra money!
    Just a suggestion.

  • The bissel for pet hair is junk! Clogs constantly. One little hair ball is all it takes. Dust blows out the filters. The upholstery brush only lasted a month before it broke. I've had my Kirby for 12 years & it's still going strong. I bought another one at a resale shop. So I have one upstairs & one down. I'll never buy another brand.
