Can I substitute all-purpose flour for bread flour?/ What is the difference between the two?

I am going to make a Hawaiin bread in my bread machine and I only have all purpose flour but the recipe calls for bread flour.
What is the difference between all purpose and bread flour?

  • You'll need a rising agent and all-purpose flour does not contain one.
