how do i get rid of a yeast infection?? cant afford antibiotics

  • im not positive but it always smells and no matter what i do i cant get the smell to go away

  • vaginal or from breastfeeding? If it's vaginal you don't need antibiotics anyhow. They are horrible for you. Never take them unless you have to. Get some Monistat over the counter.


     If it is thrush from breastfeeding, get some gentian violet from the pharmacist. They keep it behind the counter. Apply with a cotton ball, & walk around topless for a day or 2. Also nurse right after you apply to treat the baby & then reapply on your self. It stains like crazy, so wear your paintin shirt!

  • There is an OTC test now that you can buy to help determine the issue. It may or may not be a yeast infection.
