sleep issues

My 6 yr old for the past week has been waking up around 3:30. He comes into my room tells me he loves me and then says mommy please don't die. He then lays down and goes back to sleep. He has no memory of doing this when asked. Any ideas ladies?

  • WOW THATS GOT TO BE A CRAZY FEELING. I COULD'NT IMAGINE. JUST DO'NT TAKE IT TO SERIOUS. HE MAY BE HAVING NIGHTMARES OR MAYBE HE HAS HEARD SOMEONE AT SCHOOL TALK ABOUT DEATH. IT SOUNDS A LITTLE LIKE YOU SON MAY BE A SLEEP WALKER. I DID THAT ALLOT AROUND THE AGE OF 7 AND THEN IT EVENTUALLY JUST STOPPED. IF YOUR WORRIED YOU SHOULD MENTION IT TO HIS PEDIATRICIAN. I HOPE THIS HELPS. GOOD LUCK :)

  • Sounds like he's dreaming about you dying. Has anyone around him died recently? Talk to him about death, this might help his subconcious fears rest.
