  • I can't tell u y it's low but i had that too. They just told me to get lots of rest, and i was induced like a week early, my baby is fine though had no problems with delivery. I had to go in 2 and sometimes 3 times a week for non stress testing (montoring the babys heart n movemnts), and some xtra ultrasounds.

  • Amniotic fluid can be low for several reasons. One reason could be kidney issues concerning the fetus. You need to talk with your OB about your concerns. He/She should be able to answer your questions.

  • Sometimes there is no reason. I've had 6 babies and out of those, I had low fluid 4 times. They have never found a cause for it. All my children are healthy.

  • I had the same problem. I ended up having to be induced 4 wks early b/c it was interfering with her growth. I had pre-eclampsia. I believe that is one of the reasons for mine.
