  • Yeah, just use the TMI flag. :-)
Also, we each have our own profanity filter now on our transcript page that blocks out common swear words and replaces them with the * marks in the answers and questions.

  • Fuck yes we can swear! :p

  • Yes as long as you use the TMI button. Other than that, if you forget, it will censor out.

  • Yep... People that don't like it can turn on their "profanity blocker"

  • Hey, if it makes you feel better why not?

Answer by older at 12:38 PM on Jul. 26, 2010

  • Yup! People can put on the filter if they want

  • In groups, it all depends on the GO - some groups have a no-cuss rule, some groups encourage it, some don't care, some are okay with minor words (crap, shit) but not others (f***, b*****, etc).

  • You should not use "excessive" swearing. And in journals there is a box you should check: Please check this box if your post might not be suitable for everyone.

  • It depends on the section and the circumstances. I believe "extreme" use of profanity is still against terms. I love the profanity filter. I turn it on when the kids are around and off when I'm free as a bird.
    Best of both worlds.
