There have to be consequences for lying, just like there are consequences for other behavioral choices. Lying is a choice. If it is a choice that is "rewarded" in any way, it will continue. If the consequences are negative, eventually the lies will stop.
i dont know of anyone lyin in our families. we have tried to punish for his lyin but it just wont stop. he lies every time we turn around about everythin from what he was told to do to his homework bein done i just dont understand
