Would you do this as a guest?

Would you wait 5 days before going to a party where head count is a little important (park) and ask if you can bring your daughter's college friend because they're in town, supposedly, that day????

I would never impose that on someone, especially at the last minute, even if it's just one more person because I wouldn't know how many other people are going. I would never put someone on the spot.

Would you?

  • Of course not, regardless of the situation. A party invite is for the intended guest, not for that guest to bring others. Terribly rude.

  • Absolutely not, even if it IS family ... why do some people think it's ok to be inconsiderate to family in ways they wouldn't be inconsiderate to other people?
