Anybody having problems clothes shopping for school?

I can't find anything I like for my girls! AHH. They are 6 and 7. I have tried Walmart, JC Penney, and Old Navy so far. Any ideas?

  • I have the problem of finding stylish yet school appropriate shorts for my 13 yr old. All the shorts are SO short. And the school really cracked down at the end of last year as far as short length.

  • What is the problem exactly? Are they picky or do they just not like any of the styles that they are seeing? I have a 7 year old dd and I have the opposite problem, I am finding too much! I've had good luck at the Gap so far.

  • I haven't showed them anything as I am not buying them anything I don't approve of. I just thing most of the stuff out there is ugly. I will not let my child wear skinny jeans. I don't really need cold weather stuff as I can layer. The temperature is still pretty warm here into November and it goes back up in March. I just need pants and t shirts mostly. My kids havn't grown any in the last year so they don't need a lot of new clothes.
