  • 2 in 1 has never done my hair any good, I use them seperate that way I can leave the conditioner in hair for a while before rinsing.

  • If you have long hair it is better to use them seperate. The 2 in 1 doesnt condition very well.

  • I wish I could post the Mitch Hedberg bit about 2-in-1 shampoos. How one, by definition, isn't big enough to hold two, that's why two was invented.

Go separate. I never liked the idea of leaving shampoo on my hair long enough for conditioner to work.

  • Separate is always best! When they are put together they will tend not to clean as well and will leave your hair greasy...

  • When they are put together, you have no way of knowing the exact amounts of each on your hair. Therefore, yes, your hair might come out over conditioned. It's also impossible for something to shampoo and condition at the same time.

  • Personally, I've never liked them.  I always prefer separates.

  • Never liked the all in one types. I use seperate shampoo and conditioners.

  • I don't like them. They make my hair feel dry together

  • Awesome, Jenny! Loved him. : (

  • Shampoo is to clean your scalp and reduce the oils from it.

Conditioner is mainly for the ends of your hair to repair and condition.
