What can I use to get ink out of clothes?

Has not been in the laundry yet.

  • have you tried dousing it with hairspray? sometimes that works well.

  • one time I used milk it works, just damp it in milk for couple minutes and then scrub it

  • my husband had a white polo that got blue ink on it. It was one of his work shirts and I needed to save it. I used rubbing alcohol and it worked great. I poured it on and dabbed it out. Not sure if it would ruin color but I figure it was a white shirt, couldnt hurt it.

  • If it is ball point pen ink, use rubbing alcohol. Let it set for a few minutes before washing it.
