Can you pay your health care expenses or purchase decent health care insurance coverage for your family with $5000 a year?

If McCain taxes employers health insurance contributions many of us will lose health insurance or end up with a lower quality plan. Oh but we get $5k a year to pay for our health expenses.

I know that I could not! How about you?

  • Definitely not. I'm lucky enough to get Medicaid right now...but what'll happen when I finish school and get a well-paying job? I'll be screwed.

  • I have very good coverage for myself and family that's 4200 a year. My husband does not get any benefits so we had to purchase it on our own.

  • Our premiums will go down with McCain's plan.....

And, when we considered go alone and scrapping employer insurance, it was $500/month with a son with chronic medical expenses as well as myself---there is afforadable insurance out there.
