  • Well, if I'm telling Wesley to do something like walk to his dad - then I call DH dad or daddy. And he calls me Mom or mommy. But when I'm just speaking to DH then I call him Chris or honey.

  • By his name if I'm talking to him. Daddy if I'm talking to my kids about him. The problem is they have picked up on his real name and will sometimes call him that.

  • It's a mix of both. Daddy, Dad, His name. It's the same when he's talking to me. I think when the kids were younger infant/toddler we used daddy, mommy more. I don't really remember, but I think that was the case. Now that they are older it's a mix. If he's speaking directly to me then it's my name. If he's speaking to me, but on the behave of the kids, then it's mommy. It could be something like this "Mommy, how were the kids today? Did they have good behavior?" (My husband like to award the kids for their good behavior). or "Mommy, do you think we can take the kids......". Anyway it's a healthy Mix. The only thing I've noted since the kids is have started to refer to myself in the 3rd person. I'm always saying things like "Mommy said....." That to me is a little bit more scary! LOL
