Why do you care so much that you think you need to take from some?

I am using YOU in a general sense please don't take it personally.
As Hillery said, The are no rich people who really pay enough taxes. Really?
Who is rich to you and why do you care what they eat, drive or wear? Why do you care if they have investments or a good job that they work their ass off at. Why do you care if they make more money than you? Is it anyones business what they do or how they do it as long as it is legal?
Are you jealous, greedy or truly worried about the environment?
Personally, I think you don't care how much anyone makes as long as YOU get the better end. Why do you care?

  • The problem is that people believe they are entitled to what a wealthier person has because they have the resources to do some. Unfortunatly, people feel this sense of entitlement. They feel that if they don't have as much as someone else, they person who has more should give them money. People would rather get free money than to work for it. There are people who don't want to put in the work to reach that secure financial status. There are people out there who are entitled to receive a college education at no cost to them who are under a certain income bracket as long as they pass the clases. Oftentimes, that student given these grants for school start off with the intention of finishing, don't put in the work to finish, and lose thier opportunity to improve thier finances. It's a competitive world out there and getting an education places you at an advantage and gives you more opportunities. But- people just dont work for it

  • If the shoe was on the other foot, you'd hear nary a word from them. But since it's not, the green eyes of jealousy are glowing!!

See, when someone who starts out with NOTHING in life, manages to become highly successful, it kills their excuses/theories/beliefs for why they are unable to do the same. It's easier to pick on the successful person who made wise choices, than pick on one's own unsuccessful choices.

  • The simple truth is that people in the top 5% of income earners pay a lower percentage of their income to taxes than people who make much less. Look it up. That's what Clinton meant.

As far as the rest of your rant, get over it, I don't care if other people have more than me. I plan to be one of them.

This is totally true. And as long as someone continues to blame others, and play the victim, they'll never truly be happy. When you realize that you alone are ultimately responsible for how your life is lived, it's very empowering.

  • I don't care. People create their own life. Excuses and pointing fingers are what hold people back.

  • The Clinton's have their money overseas so they do not pay taxes, just like the rest of their kind of people in power. That is how it works, they get you to hate the hard working people, it is called a "class war". And YOU always fall for it .

  • We provide for ourselves and take care of our own. Not worried at all about getting anything from anyone.

We do have compassion for the collective-

I believe that big business gets cut way too many deals- they are in bed with the politicians- everything is legislated to the benefit of BB in exchange for votes/re-election.

Welfare moms are pennies and BB is millions of dollars. So many appear to be penny interested and millions of dollars foolish.

  • LOL! I will have to check back to see how this question is going!

I think the crux of the problem is success in others brings to light the shortcomings in the one not as successful. Many people don't see these as a problem within themselves though. They recognize this success for what it is. Others simply cannot look at someone successful without seeing some sort of "failure" within themselves, this breeds jealousy.

I remember a time when success was something to be admired.

  • I think it's funny when the politicians talk about taxing the rich or cutting pay for the rich they don't include themselves or the idiots in Hollywood who own their own islands and what not.
