How do you pronounce the word "crepes?"

Does it rhyme with "grapes?" Thanks for helping me out! LOL

  • The word is French, and the correct pronunciation is, in fact, krehps. It rhymes with steps.

  • We say it like "Grapes" but in France they say "kreps". Go with what you want....

    When I see crepes I automatically think of the "short e" sound, the pancakes. So I just say kreps (short) e with a "s" at the end.
