  • Hmm... I thought they were one in the same. Here in NE Ohio the loud little buggers are always humming! The seemed a bit early this year!

  • Yes I live in PA Butler Twnshp and there are Locus going off all the time! I have seen a few on my porch as well. YUCK!

  • Locusts are periodical cicadas. I certainly have cicadas making a racket right now. I don't know if they're periodical ones or not.
