  • Are you prepared to answer that?

I mean you asked us to be prepared if we answered a certain way.

I think this question is just to get a rise out of others with opposite political views.

  • I suspect the problem is that it's not the president doing anything --it's the bureaucracy, which is huge and makes its living off spending tax money.

For all the whinging about paying for it, and demanding lower taxes the US citizenry makes, the demands it makes of its government for services and freebies certainly racks up the bills.

I like what a friend suggested: anytime you might be inclined to say 'the government should pay for...' go next door to your neighbour and demand cash for whatever it is you think your neighbour should be paying you (or whoever) for. Because that's exactly what demands of the government ultimately are.

  • It wasn't JUST Bush spending, it was also his policies.

  • Bush wasn't spending 5 billion dollars to have his wife tell people how to feed their children. Obama doesn't need to be spending money that our country doesn't have on things that aren't going to make a difference. The only way you can spend money to make money is by investing. I don't see him making any investments in anything.

  • No skeptic it is in anticipation of the typical liberal answer

As for ways Obama has spent more than Bush......
How about 787 billion stimulus that he is now just sitting on. How about a healthcare bill that the CBO now says will add to the deficit not to mention NOT reduce healthcare costs. How about a 275 billion housing bill that has been a flop. Umm, Maybe the bailout of Gm and Chrysler and those horrible big banks. How about the money for cash for clunkers and appliances. The budget for this coming year is so big the Dems won't even officially do it by it's due date. They don't want to scare Americans before the vote in Nov. These are far from all of his expenditures that have given him the title of biggest spender and they don't even mention the trillion dollar interest payments on all our debts.
