Quick Question

Has anyone had their gallbladder taken out?? If so did the doctor instruct you to eat a certain way afterwards like no fatty foods, no sweets, etc?? Also did the doctor say that it's possible to have pain in that area or around that area 4 months, 6 months, a year later?? Very Curious....

Thank you

  • If you are still having pain then you need to see your dr. They could have missed a stone stuck in a duct. It can cause pancreatitus & death.

  • Well, first off, you should edit your question title... you need some real info and people may skip over it.
My mom, sis in law, cousin, aunt and several friends have all had their gall bladders removed... I don't remember them complaining of pain that long after, or having to eat certain foods. Are you contemplating surgery? Have you looked into the gall bladder flush? You can google it. It works. :o)
