Does it piss you off....

that when you call places anymore you have to push 1 for English?? Shouldn't it just automatically be English since this is the US and not Mexico?? I wonder if you have to push 1 for Spanish in Mexico.....

  • it doesn't piss me off..the whole automated thing pisses me off, though. i hate having to go through 20-questions just to get through to a live person, even if they do have a foreign accent.

  • Since the United States has no official language and a lot of the people that live here are more comfortable speaking Spanish (even if they also speak English) it is just good business sense to offer customer service representatives that speak both languages.

  • most places if you dont push anything it goes to english and if you press 2 it's spanish. it's not that big of a deal to press a button.
