Could u be a Correctional Officer?

There are some jobs that people will not do. And from what I hear this is one. For some that don't know what it is a person that works in the jails.

  • I have a lot of respect for the good ones who can. But I couldn't do it. I have virtually no patience for people who repeatedly screw up, who hurt innocent people, and who are blaming everyone around them for their troubles. I would have a hard time controlling myself.
Now, I know this doesn't describe all of them, but it does a lot.

  • Idk... is it any better than the ER during a full moon? If so, then heck yeah I could do it. Somehow though I think that it's far worse than my job.

  • Both of my parents were CO's (at different facilities, both now retired), so I know without a doubt that I could do it. Would I do it? Never. I personally believe that you are in prison for a reason and I don't want to have to be around those people and actually treat them like they aren't the criminals they obviously are.
