Is it normal? adult content

Okay I am 24 weeks pregnant and am already starting to "leak" when I sneeze of cough is that normal for only being this far along?

  • Yep, perfectly normal! The baby is probably positioned in such a way as to put pressure on your bladder and when you sneeze or cough that increases the pressure further and your bladder just can't handle it.

  • yea, it's prob just pee. But i would get checked to make sure. But the baby is getting bigger and putting pressure on your bladder, so it makes it super easy to pee your pants. One of the joys of pregnancy :)

  • leak what? urine, colostrum, or vaginal discharge? which can all be normal at this point.

  • yep! even w a c section and DD being almost 2... i tighten up down there so tight before i sneeze but sometimes it still dribbles. lol welcome to mother hood!

  • It's not "normal" any time, really. It's a signal that your pelvic floor is weak, which is common in our country, but not something that should happen if we weren't so cushioned in our lifestyles lol.

    It's time to start the Kegals and squats and cat/cow exercises to tone up your pelvic floor. Make sure to do all of those so that you're working all the interconnected muscles. JUST doing kegals can actually make it worse.

    It's not bad, it's not a sign that there's something horribly wrong with you, just that your pelvic floor needs more exercise :)
