With birth control pills, do the white pills you take on your period contain any hormones?

  • No, but some brands put vitamins in them. They are "blanks", lol.

  • No, they contain no active ingredients. If you want to throw them out, it's ok, I did when I was on the pill. I just couldn't see taking a sugar pill that would do nothing for me.

  • It depends on what pill. I take seasonique and yes the pills that are normally "blanks or sugar pills" do have a small amount of hormone in them and my Dr said I have to take them
